On September 23rd, the Chefs de Mission Seminar of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 was held in Harbin, attended by chefs de mission and representatives of the Olympic Committees from 32 countries/regions in Asia. Zhou Jinqiang, Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025, Yu Hongtao, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Standing Committee Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Harbin Municipal Party Committee, and Song Luzeng, Vice Chairman of the Olympic Council of Asia and Chairman of the Sports Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. The seminar was attended by leaders and guests including Fahd, member of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia and Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committees, Vinod, Deputy Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, Yang Shu'an, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Qian Fuyong, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Heilongjiang Provincial Political Consultative seminar, and Director of the Provincial Sports Bureau, and hosted by Zhang Haihua, Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee, Deputy Director of the Executive Committee, and Deputy Mayor of Harbin Municipal Government. Representatives from the Organizing Committee of Aichi Nagoya Asian Games and the Organizing Committee of Troyena Saudi Arabia Asian Games sat in on the seminar.
Chefs de Mission Seminar of the 9th Asian Winter Games Opens At the seminar, the organizing committee introduced the latest progress in the preparation of the competition to each participating Olympic committee, who demonstrated the business coverage in detail focusing on 17 aspects, including competition services and venues, athlete villages, anti doping, Olympic Council of Asia family services, registration and certification, fee cards, catering and accommodation, arrival and departure services, and provided detailed explanations and clarifications to the questions raised by the mission. During the seminar, the organizing committee will organize multiple one-on-one meetings with missions, setting up consultation desks in 14 business areas including media operations, ticketing, protocol, international politicians, medical services, etc., to understand the needs of each mission, listen to their valuable suggestions, and make full preparations for their participation. Each mission will also inspect the ice sports athlete village and ice sports competition venues in the urban area, and visit the snow sports athlete village, snow sports competition venues, and snow sports award plaza in Yabuli and son on to comprehensively understand the supporting facilities and conditions of each venue. In addition, the mission will also visit and tour the The Museum of Ice and Snow Dream of Harbin Ice and Snow World, experiencing the ice and snow cultural heritage of "World Ice and Snow Tourism City", "Olympic Champion City", and "Double Asian Winter Games City".
