Photo provided by Harbin Sport University On November 23rd, the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 Women's Chinese Ice Hockey League (Harbin Sport University Station), hosted by the China Ice Hockey Association and organized by Harbin Sport University, was held at Harbin Sport University. It is reported that the 2024-2025 season of the Women's Chinese Ice Hockey League is divided into two stages: the regular season and the finals. There are a total of 7 women's ice hockey teams from Beijing, Hebei Province, Shanghai, Sichuan Province, Shenzhen, Harbin, and Qiqihar City, with 212 athletes participating in the competition. This regular season consists of four stations, which are held at Qiqihar, Harbin, and Tangshan, in a single round robin format with 21 games per station. After the regular season, the top 4 teams based on total points will advance to the finals held in Shenzhen. In the finals, players compete in a best of three-set cross match format, where the winner competes for the championship and the loser competes for the third place. The league competition that consists of 84 regular season games and 8 finals, totaling 92 games, will continue until February 26, 2025. |
