The First IT Audit Meeting of the Asian Winter Games Comes to An End | ||||||||||||

From March 7th to 8th , the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Executive Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 held the First Information Technology Audit Meeting in Harbin. The Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the Asian Winter Games, Wang Tieli, delivered a speech at the meeting. Attendees included Waleed Mubarak, Director of the IT Department of the OCA, Anil Reddy, Manager of the IT Department, Manuel Gonzalez and Alfonso Sanchez Vivanco, IT auditors, and representatives from Bonan Company. The heads and relevant staff of the Information Technology Department of the Information Center of the State Administration of Sports and Sports, the Information Technology Department, the News Promotion and Media Operations Department, and the External Liaison Department, the Venue and Infrastructure Construction Department, Market Development Department, Human Resources and Volunteer Services Department (Organization Department), as well as the Sports Competition Department of Executive Committee of the Asian Winter Games, also attended the meeting.
Wang Tieli expressed his gratitude to the audit team for providing the Executive Committee with very operational guidance. He believes that the preparatory work for information technology will be promoted smoothly with mutual respect, candid interaction, full communication and joint cooperation, in order to provide solid information technology support for hosting a "simple, safe, and splendid" Asian Winter Games.
At the meeting, Zhang Wencheng, Minister of Information Technology, and representatives from the News Promotion and Media Operations Department respectively presented presentations and reports to the OCA on organizational structure, project management, testing strategies, communication networks, venue planning, and event broadcasting, and had in-depth communication with the IT auditors of the OCA. IT auditor Alfonso Sanchez Vivanco gave full recognition to the preparatory work of information technology for the Harbin Asian Winter Games.
On the afternoon of March 7th, Mubarak and his delegation conducted on-site inspections of the Harbin Ice Hockey Arena and the Asian Winter Games Media Center, visited the ice hockey competition venue, athletes, VIP lounges and other information technology related areas, and inspected the functional and broadcasting rooms of the venues, and so on.
Mubarak pointed out that this trip to Harbin has yielded fruitful results, and the preparatory work of the Asian Winter Games Executive Committee was progressing in an orderly manner, and the industrious work and outstanding contributions of all staff members of the Executive Committee deserved high recognition and praise from the OCA. He believes that the Executive Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 has the ability to ensure the successful and smooth hosting of the Asian Winter Games. |
